The operational team behind growing brands.

We forecast your demand, plan your orders, manage your suppliers and move your stock from factory to warehouse — by the cheapest route that works for your business. One named person owns your account, six days a week. Software does the maths.

  • One named person owns your account

Who knows your range and your seasons

  • Six days a week

    On email, Slack or WhatsApp

  • Freight at cost

Forwarders bill you directly, with no mark-up from us

You know this feeling

  1. It’s September and you’re guessing how many units to order for Christmas
  2. Your bestseller went out of stock in the week that mattered
  3. There’s £40k of the wrong SKU sitting in the warehouse since January
  4. Your lead times are four months and your forecast is a spreadsheet only you understand
  5. Suppliers get chased by whoever has time, which is usually you, at 11pm

Why the usual fixes don't fit

Keep doing it yourself

Free

Until the Christmas order is wrong. Then it's the most expensive option you have

Buy software

£100–500 a month

For a forecast, and nobody to validate or act on it, chase the supplier, negotiate the freight or clear the import

Setpoint

From £1,750 a month

A team, the software and the freight expertise, without carrying any of it on the payroll

Hire a team

£45–60k a year

A supply chain manager is £45–60k, and a department is several of them, plus recruitment, holiday cover, pension, NI, management and the software on top. Most brands our size don't need that much capability — they need it available

How it works

  1. 1

    Kick-off

We agree your range, your suppliers and the rules the plan has to respect.

  2. 2

    Connect your data

Read access to your sales channels, plus your supplier list with lead times and minimums.

  3. 3

    Build the model

We build your forecast and agree service levels, cash limits and safety stock.

  4. 4

    Approve the first plan

We walk you through it before anything is ordered.

  5. Monthly cycle

Forecast, order plan, POs, freight, one-page report. You approve; we do the rest.

What we need from you

  • Read access to your sales channels
  • Your supplier list with lead times and minimums
  • An hour a week from whoever does the buying

The monthly cycle

  1. Your account manager refreshes the forecast
  2. Issues the order plan for your approval
  3. Raises the POs and chases suppliers
  4. Books and tracks the freight, clears imports
  5. Sends a one-page stock and cash report

You approve the plan; we do the rest.

Experienced operators. One accountable team.

  • Oliver Spencer-Berrell

    Commercial leadership

    Oliver Spencer-Berrell

He has experienced the other side of this problem — committing to stock months ahead, guessing at Christmas, and finding out in February whether he got it right.

  • Supply chain & marketplace operations

Setpoint's experienced operations team, working UK hours, with years of experience supporting Sew Heart Felt and now other businesses.

  • Your dedicated account manager

Who knows your range, your suppliers and your seasons, backed by a supervising planner who also knows your account.

Our software does the number-crunching.

Your account manager makes the judgement calls, handles the chasing and takes responsibility.

You get the efficiency of the technology without having to learn or run it.

Onboarding

£500

One-off, covering supplier mapping, data migration and your first forecast.

Service standard

Every client gets the same standard of service:

  • Same-day responses during UK working hours.
  • A weekly review call, or fortnightly if you prefer.
  • Monthly demand forecast reviews, with two major reforecasts a year.
  • Your order plan refreshed monthly.
  • Weekly replenishment and performance checks.

How we count

Stock location
Anywhere inventory sits that we plan and replenish separately, such as your warehouse, a 3PL, Amazon FBA or TikTok fulfilment. Each territory counts, so FBA UK and FBA US are two.
Sales channel
Anywhere you sell from those locations, such as your own site, Etsy, eBay, Faire or wholesale.
Active SKU
A line we forecast or replenish. Dormant lines don't count.
Regular supplier
One we actively manage through the year, placing orders, chasing and holding stock plans, whatever the ordering rhythm. One-offs and once-a-year suppliers don't count.

management Optional bolt-on

Available with any plan, never on its own: managing a channel without its forecast and stock position is the failure we exist to prevent. The monthly fee is tiered on your Amazon revenue.

It covers listings and A+ content, the storefront, Buy Box, advertising, cases and Seller Support, reviews and policy compliance, and launching new products onto the channel. FBA replenishment is already in your plan, as a stock location.

  • Trailing 12-month Amazon revenue Monthly base fee
  • Under £100,000 £500
  • £100,000 – £250,000 £700
  • £250,000 – £500,000 £1,000
  • £500,000 – £750,000 £1,300

Then +£300 a month for each further £250,000 of revenue, up to £2.5m. Above that, quoted.

All prices exclude VAT.

  • 12-month term

Billed monthly in advance by direct debit. Forecasting proves itself over a full seasonal cycle, and a shorter term doesn't let us show you that.

  • 90-day break clause

If it isn't working, either side can end the agreement at any point in the first 90 days with 30 days' notice. No exit fee, and you keep every forecast and plan we've produced.

  • Plan reviews

Prices, your plan and any Amazon tier are reviewed once a year at renewal, never mid-year. If your stock locations, active SKUs or suppliers have outgrown your plan, we'll tell you and move you to the plan that fits from then. No surprises mid-term.

  • Freight and duties

Forwarders, carriers and HMRC invoice you directly. Our fee covers the management; the shipping and import costs are yours, paid at cost with no mark-up.

Bring your stock locations, active SKU count, sales channels and regular suppliers, plus your biggest stock headache from last year. We'll confirm which plan fits and what onboarding involves.

A good fit if

  • You turn over £250k or more
  • You sell physical products, from UK suppliers, overseas suppliers or both
  • Stock planning is a real job, whether or not you have someone doing it
  • You sell physical products through your own website, marketplaces, wholesale or retail partners

We won't be suitable for

  • Businesses under £250k
  • Businesses that make to order
  • Businesses that already have an established supply chain team

Built on a brand we run ourselves

Setpoint grew out of Sew Heart Felt, the UK gifting brand co-owned by our co-founder Oliver. Its products are handmade by artisans in Nepal and India, then sold through its own website, marketplaces and wholesale.

The team behind Setpoint has managed that supply chain for years: hundreds of SKUs, suppliers in multiple countries, multiple sales channels and Christmas, Valentine’s and Mother’s Day peaks that make or break the year.

We built Setpoint because we needed it ourselves—and recognised the same challenge in other growing product brands: keeping stock, suppliers and sales channels in sync, often with a spreadsheet open at 11pm.
